Our story
A local firm, built for local families.
Richard has called San Diego home since 1963, when he arrived here as a fourth grader. He earned his degrees at San Diego State and UC Davis School of Law, then came back to the county he grew up in and opened Arroyo Law Center in 1983 as a locally owned, minority-operated defense practice. He's practiced in adult and juvenile courts across the South Bay ever since.
That's more than sixty years in San Diego and four decades in these courtrooms. It's why the judges, the prosecutors, and the process aren't a mystery to him — and why the families he defends are his neighbors.
